Spain is a beautiful country and a very popular holiday
destination. If you are planning a holiday in your caravan then there
are a number of attractions that you might want to visit during your
stay, and sometimes it can be difficult to choose the best ones for your
trip.
Here
are a few of the top towns and cities across Spain to help you to
choose which ones you might like to see during your caravan trip.
1. Madrid
Madridis
the capital of Spain and one of the top places to visit on a caravan
holiday. Once you've got all your caravan equipment and caravan supplies
sorted out then there is nothing to stop you heading to Madrid, and
there are a number of things to see and do here.
Palacio Real is
probably the main attraction, and this splendid royal palace is a real
sight to behold. Then there is the Museo del Prado for art lovers, which
is one of the best art museums in the world. You should also check out
the Puerta del Sol which is perhaps the most famous square in Madrid and
a great place to sit and watch the world go by.
2. Barcelona
Barcelonais
another major city in Spain, so if you need to stock up on caravan
supplies then you should be able to do so here. There are a number of
great attractions here including La Sagrada Familia, which is the
unfinished cathedral of Gaudí, and another of his creations, Parc Güell,
which is full of incredible statues and crazy designs.
If you are
a fan of the artist Picasso then the Picasso Museum is a must. It has
some of his major works and is one of the best museums of his work that
you will ever visit.
3.Seville
In Seville there is a lot to do if you stop here to repair or buy new caravan equipment.
The first thing you may want to do is visit the cathedral, and once you
have done that then you may want to go and watch a flamenco show, this
being the home of the dance.
The city also claims to be the home
of bullfighting, so if this is your thing then take a trip to the Plaza
de Toros de la Maestranza.
4. Malaga
Malaga
is another great Spanish city to discover on your caravan holiday, and
one of the top attractions here is Mount Gibralfaro, a hill in the city
on top of which you will find the 13th-century ruins of Gibralfaro
Castle.
The Museum of Fine Arts is also an interesting place to
visit, and if you feel like taking your caravan a little way out of the
city you can visit the Caves of Nerja, which are some of the most
impressive caves in Europe.
